Walking COS (Remote DOD)

Functional description
This function enables the subscriber to use the low class telephone as if using his/her own high class telephone.
Operating procedure
When using the Account Code in the general/D-Tel telephone

The extension subscriber lifts up the handset.
Dials the Walking COS code (Default:*78). In case of the D-Tel telephone, the following message will be displayed on the LCD screen.

ENTER A STATION NUMBER

3 Dials the extension number of the extension telephone to use. In case of the D-Tel telephone, the following message will be displayed on the LCD screen.

ENTER CURRENT PASSWORD

4 Dials the four digits password of the extension telephone to use. In case of the D-Tel telephone, the following message will be displayed on the LCD screen.

More Fet.Code/Acc. Code

5 Dials the Feature Code of the Account Code (Default:#4). In case of the D-Tel telephone, the following message will be displayed on the LCD screen.

ENTER AN ACCOUNT CODE

6 Dials the four digit Account Code. In case of the D-Tel telephone, the following message will be displayed on the LCD screen.

Enter Acc. Code + Tel No

7 When the station Access Code is dialed, the idle station will be occupied.

8 Dials the telephone number of the external subscriber.

9 When the external subscriber answers, a call will be made.

When not using the Account Code in the general/D-Tel telephone

The extension subscriber lifts up the handset.
Dials the Walking COS code (Default:*78). In case of the D-Tel telephone, the following message will be displayed on the LCD screen.

ENTER A STATION NUMBER

3 Dials the extension number of the extension telephone to use. In case of the D-Tel telephone, the following message will be displayed on the LCD screen.

More Fet.Code/Acc. Code

5 When the station Access Code is dialed, the idle station will be occupied.

6 Dials the telephone number of the external subscriber.

7 When the external subscriber answers, a call will be made.

Service conditions
The subscriber with “Room Cut” cannot use this function.

If the extension class currently in use is lower than “E Class”, this function cannot be used.

When the password of the extension number is wrong or set to “0000”, this function cannot be used.
