Verify Busy Line StatusFunctional description
Using this function, Digital Display – Station, Digital Display – Trunk, Incoming Call Identification, Called Number Display – Attendant and Call Processing Indication information will be displayed on the attendant LCD screen, when the operator calls other subscriber, or other subscriber calls the operator, or the operator is in busy with other subscriber, or the call is forwarded by the call forwarding of another subscriber.
Operating procedure
- Displaying the extension subscriber state
The operator dials the telephone number of the extension subscriber. Various extension subscribers’ information will be displayed on the attendant LCD such as the telephone number, class, tenant number and current state.
- Displaying the trunk state
The operator dials the trunk serial number after pressing the trunk code or pressing the “TRK SEL” key. The trunk number, route number, tenant number or trunk code of the incoming or outgoing trunk call will be displayed on the attendant.
- Displaying incoming call
The attendant presses the “ANSWER” key. Type of incoming call will be displayed. The attendant can hear the Service Set Tone as a sign of registration completion.
- Displaying forwarding information
A transfer call is generated at the attendant. The telephone number of the subscriber who registered the call forwarding, not the original outgoing subscriber, will be displayed on the attendant LCD screen.
- Displaying call progress state
The progress status that is held by the attendant will be displayed on the attendant LCD screen.
- Displaying usage state
The operator dials the subscriber’s telephone number. He/she hears the busy sound since the line is busy. Presses the “BRK IN”(Break-In) key. The “OVERRIDE” sound will be given to the busy subscriber and the call will be changed to a three-person conference call. Service conditions
In order for the extension subscriber to transfer to the attendant, he/she has to use the designated extension number. Call transfer cannot be made using the attendant page code or attendant representative number.
