Through DialingFunctional description
The operator makes an outgoing call after occupying the concerned trunk on behalf of the extension subscribers whose trunk outgoing is denied.
Operating procedure
- When the attendant provides the trunk only
The operator is busy with the extension subscriber. The operator dials the trunk access code if the extension subscriber wants to make a trunk line call. The serial number of the available trunk will be displayed on the attendant LCD and the extension subscriber will be automatically put on a hold and hear the hold sound. The operator presses the “CONNECT” key. 5 The attendant LCD will be cleared, the extension subscriber hears the attendant dialing tone and the attendant is released.
6 The extension subscriber dials the telephone number of the external subscriber.
- When dialing all numbers of the external subscriber while making a call with the extension subscriber from the attendant.
The operator is busy with the extension subscriber. The operator dials both the trunk access code and the telephone number of the external subscriber. The extension subscriber will hear a hold sound, whereas the operator hears an attendant dialing tone. The operator presses the “CONNECT”(Connection) key. 5 The attendant will be released. The extension subscriber on hold will make a call with the external subscriber.
Service conditions
- When the operator presses the “CLR”(Clear) button while listening to the trunk dial tone, the trunk will be released and a call with the extension subscriber will be resumed.
- When the operator presses the “RLS”(Release) button while listening to the trunk dial tone, both the trunk and extension subscriber will be released.
- When the operator checked to see if the busy counterpart subscribers are making a call after pressing the “CONNECT”(Connection) key, he/she can determine whether releasing it by pressing the “RLS”(Release) key or releasing it automatically by pressing the “CONNECT”(Connection) key instead of the “RLS”(Release) key.
Data generation
