Sub AddressFunctional description
When the ISDN BRI is used as a trunk line by connecting it with the Point to Multi-Pointer method, this function enables up to eight types of numbers that does not match with the system numbering plan, which is included in the Called Party Sub Address from the remote station, to be processed as the incoming call of the extension subscriber number, representative number of the paging group, external subscriber number.
Operating procedure
Service conditions
- The concerned line should be assigned as the sub address subscriber.
- When assigning the sub address incoming, both 2B will be applied when only one line is assigned, which corresponds to the first B out of 2B.
- When both the sub address incoming and DIL incoming are produced in the same line, service of the DIL incoming shall take precedence.
- The line that is assigned as the sub address will be automatically operated in the Point to Multi-Point Mode.
- The same trunk line cannot be used in the MSN and sub address method at the same time.
