Step CallFunctional description
When the extension subscriber is listening to the busy tone after making a call to the other busy subscriber and he/she is trying to make a call by changing the last digit only, this function enables him/her to do it by dialing the last digit only.
Operating procedure
- The extension subscriber (A) dials the telephone number of the extension subscriber (B).
- The call listens to the busy tone.
- Dials the last digit (0 ~ 9) only to make a call to the other the extension subscriber (C) who has the telephone number that is different in the last digit.
- The extension subscriber (A) will hear a dialing tone, whereas the extension subscriber(C) will hear a ringing sound.
- The extension subscriber (C) answers a call.
- Then, a call between the extension subscriber (A) and extension subscriber (C) is made.
Service conditions
- This function can be used in both the general telephone/D-Tel.
- The [2.6 System Feature Option – Step Call Use] item should be set to “YES”.
- This function should be used without hook flash.
- When the unavailable number is dialed, the call will hear a closing sound.
- This function cannot be used in the dial pulse telephone.

- Step Call function cannot be used when the following One Digit Busy features are used.
