Station Call Back

Functional description

If the line of station Subscriber A who is called is busy, the function makes a call back so that when the busy line becomes available, the calling signal is automatically sent to the calling Subscriber B for whom a station call is automatically reserved. If the Subscriber A hands off the handset after receiving the calling signal, another calling signal is sent to Subscriber B and finally a call between them is established.

Operating procedure

  • Dial a extension subscriber’s number.
  • Hear the busy tone since the called subscriber’s line is busy.
  • Press the Hook Flash while hearing the busy tone and dial the call back code (Default:4).
  • Hear the service set tone which indicates that the call back is completed.

    5 Hook on the handset and wait.

    6 The call of the subscriber who a call is reserved for finishes.

    7 The calling signal is sent to the subscriber who reserved a call.

    8 The subscriber who reserved a call hooks off the handset.

    9 The calling tone and the calling signal are sent the subscriber who reserved the call and the other subscriber, respectively.

    10 The other subscriber answers the calling signal.

    11 A call is established.

     

  • Dial a extension subscriber’s number.
  • Hear the busy tone since the called subscriber’s line is busy.
  • Dial the call back code(Default:4) after pressing the call back button or the Hook Flash while hearing the busy tone.

    4 Hear the service set tone which indicates that the call back is completed.

    The following message is displayed on the LCD screen of D-Tel.

    PLACED IN QUEUE FOR

    STA XXXX 09:00 am

    5 Hook on the handset and wait.

    6 The call of the subscriber who a call is reserved for finishes.

    7 The calling signal is sent to the subscriber who reserved a call.

    8 The subscriber who reserved a call hooks off the handset.

    9 The calling tone and the calling signal are sent the subscriber who reserved the call and the other subscriber, respectively.

    10 The other subscriber answers the calling signal.

    11 A call is established.

     

  • The subscriber who reserved a call to another extension subscriber hands off the handset.
  • Dial the call back cancellation code (Default:*55).
  • Hear the service set tone which indicates that the function is cancelled.

     

  • The subscriber who reserved a call to another extension subscriber hands off the handset.
  • Press the Call Back button or dial the call back cancellation code (Default:*55).
  • Hear the service set tone which indicates that the function is cancelled.

    Service conditions

    • The system can simultaneously register the station/extension call back up to 100 calls.
    • If the step call is being used in the system, this function is not available.
    • If a extension subscriber dials the call back cancellation code without a call back, he or she will hear the lockout tone.
    • If the called subscriber receives the calling signal as the subscriber’s line becomes available after the call back registration, the call back is automatically cancelled.

    Interaction

    • If there is no response from the called subscriber in a certain period of time despite that a calling signal is sent to the subscriber as the subscriber’s line becomes available after the call back registration, the call back is automatically cancelled.
    • A extension subscriber may not reserve more than one call. If the subscriber does so, the previously reserved call is cancelled and the last call is reserved.
