LCR (Least Cost Routing)
Functional description
If there are several special category telecommunications operators who have different cost by day/time zone/terminating area, the function allows the subscriber to connect the call through the trunk paying the least cost by automatically considering the current day/time/originating digit after dialing the assigned trunk seizure code and incoming subscriber number without additional consideration.

The following three Tables are used for LCR service.

LCR Service Information

Include the basic information required for LCR service as follows.

Currently, is the LCR service valid?

Will the Code Repeat be used?

Which digit is used for Digit Sending Pause Digit?

Which digit is used for the substitution of Authorization Code?

Which digit is used for the substitution of station number?

How will the Day Time Zone be divided?

Which time zone is used for each day?

LDT (Leading Digit Table)

This Table contains the DMT Table information to be used for each day/time zone and for each leading digit (maximum 6 digits from the first digit that the subscriber dials) that the subscriber dials. The leading digit can be designated up to 6 digits. In addition, it can be designated if the leading digit is identical but the tenant is different.

DMT (Digit Modification Table)

This Table contains the information about how to change the digit that the subscriber dials, the outgoing trunk seizure code, and the alternative DMT Table information to be used if all designated trunks are busy.

Origination by selecting the extension line that is designated in the flexible button of D-Tel.
Origination by designating the specific line from the attendant.

Operating procedure
A subscriber dials the LCR service trunk seizure code designated.
The calling subscriber hears the LCR service dial tone.
The calling subscriber dials the external number.
After selecting the least cost trunk by analyzing the outgoing digit, the system changes and sends the outgoing digit so that the call can be established through the related special category telecommunications operator.

5 The called subscriber answers the call.

Service conditions
The trunk seizure code for LCR service should be produced.

The usage status of LCR service can be selected.

In the LCR service, the ARS and AND services directly designated to the related trunk seizure code are disregarded.

If the LCR service is not available currently, the general trunk origination service including the ARS and AND services is performed by using the trunk origination group that is directly connected to the trunk seizure code for LCR service.

For the LCR service, the repeat status of trunk seizure code that the subscriber dials can be selected. That is, if the external number is 02-818-4114, produce the trunk seizure code for LCR service as “0” and designate the repeat function of trunk seizure code to be used. Then, the outgoing subscriber can originate the call only by dialing the “02-818-4114”.

The charging information on the outgoing call generated from LCR service displays both the digit that the subscriber directly dials and the digit that is actually sent after changing.

For the LCR service, the outgoing digit restriction function by station class is performed for the digit that the subscriber directly dials.

ARS (Alternative Route Selection)

If the related trunks are all busy when the subscriber attempts the trunk origination, the function allows the related outgoing call to be normally established by one-by-one auto-checking the trunks of alternative route designated and selecting the route that contains the available trunk. At this time, the repeat digit is designated to the outgoing digit and the designated digits are additionally auto-dialed when originating the call through the alternative route selected.

AND (Automatic Network Dialing)

If dialing the trunk seizure code for trunk origination, the function allows the designated digits to be additionally auto-dialed.
