Hot Line

Functional description
Using this function, the specific extension subscriber can make a call to another extension subscriber or registered external subscriber by lifting up a handset without dialing the phone number.
Operating procedure
Direct call between extension subscribers.

The subscriber (A) designated as a hot line lifts up the handset.
The subscriber (A) hears the dialing tone, whereas the (B) designated as the receiver hears the calling sound.
The subscriber (B) answers and makes a call.

Direct call from the extension subscriber to the external subscriber.

The subscriber (A) designated as an external hot line lifts up the handset.
The subscriber (A) dials the registered trunk line calling code and external subscriber phone number.
The external subscriber answers and makes a call.

Service conditions
If all subscribers connected through the hot line are extension subscribers, calling can be made only between subscribers designated as the hot line.

If the extension subscriber and the external subscriber are connected through the hot line, the extension subscriber can make a call to the external subscriber, whereas the external subscriber cannot it.

The hot line subscriber cannot use a hook flash function during conversation on the phone since no dialing function is available.

The subscriber assigned by the hot line cannot make a call to another extension, operator or trunk line.

The hot line subscriber can be assigned only one to one.
