Functional description
The function enables an external trunk subscriber to dial extension subscriber's number without help of the operator.

Service conditions

This function may be subject to the numbering plan allocated by the opposite station connected to each route.

ALTC-LD, ALTC-EM, DNIC-DTC, DNIC-PRI, BRIT, ITGC and QSIG are the local boards available for the DDI trunks.

Each trunk can be operated for only incoming or for incoming and outgoing.

Address signals supported for each DDI trunk are shown in the following table.

DDI trunk incoming calls can be restricted for each extension class.

When the opposite station is different or types of trunks of the same opposite station are different, the services provided by the system can be supplied separately to each route.

In case abnormal trunk incoming, the route that contains the relevant trunk is designated for incoming calls.

Inter-trunk DDI can be allowed or denied.

It is possible to divert all the DDI trunk incoming calls to pre-designated subscribers. (Refer to DDI Divert.)
