Digital Direct Station : DDS

Functional description
The function expands the flexible buttons on the D-Tel connected with DDS terminal to call the registered extension subscribers with only one button touch and enable LED-based monitor of subscriber status.
Service conditions
DDS can be connected only to DSLC-LGP and DSLC-LKD boards for use.

Up to 64 DDSs can be connected to the system.

Up to 4 DDS terminals can be connected to one D-Tel terminal.

DDS can originate calls but cannot receive any incoming calls.

When D-Tel and DDS are connected, the changed data is sent to the system.

DDS terminal connected to D-Tel should exist in the same slot where D-Tel is equipped.

Data generation
To create and connect DDS

Change 3.1 Extension Information – Terminal Type : DTEL-LGP/DTEL-LKD to DDS-DTEL.
Delete the existing telephone numbers.
Press the Change button of OMS.
Transmit the changed data to the system.

5 If the change is completed, place the mouse on the port and press the right button.

6 Select “D-Tel Feature Inf. View”.

7 Place the mouse on the D-Tel to which DDS is connected and enter the DDS port information (shelf No (1 digit)/slot No (2 digits)/line No (2 digits) on DDS1 Port No ~ DDS4 Port No.

8 Transmit the changed data.

Interaction
The user can designate the trunk information/extension number/feature button/trunk access code/external subscriber number/pool loop button/digit on the flexible buttons of DDS.
