DECT-Trunk Calling
Functional description
The function allows the DECT subscriber to call an external subscriber by using the TALK ON/OFF() button.
Operating procedure
External subscriber calling by the PRE DIAL of the DECT subscriber.

The DECT subscriber dials the trunk access code.

2 The DECT subscriber dials the external subscriber’s number.

3 The digits dialed by the DECT subscriber are displayed on the LCD screen of the DECT terminal.
The DECT subscriber presses the TALK() button.

5 The “Beep” sound is heard from the DECT terminal and the Phone( ) icon is displayed on the LCD screen of the DECT terminal. In addition, the digits dialed by the DECT subscriber are displayed.

6 If the external subscriber answers the call, a call is established and the call duration is displayed on the second line in the LCD screen of DECT terminal.

7 After a call, the DECT subscriber presses the TALK() button.

8 The Phone( ) icon disappears and the DECT terminal is released.

External subscriber calling by the POST DIAL of the DECT subscriber.

The DECT subscriber presses the TALK() button.

2 The dial tone rings after the “Beep” sound from the DECT terminal and the Phone( ) icon is displayed.

3 The DECT subscriber dials the trunk access code.

4 The DECT subscriber hears the trunk dial tone.

5 The DECT subscriber dials the external subscriber’s number. At this time, the digits dialed are displayed on the LCD screen.

6 The calling tone and the calling signal are sent to the DECT subscriber and the external subscriber, respectively.

7 If the external subscriber answers the call, a call is established and the call duration is displayed on the second line in the LCD screen of DECT terminal.

8 After a call, the DECT subscriber presses the TALK() button.

9 The Phone( ) icon disappears and the DECT terminal is released.

Service conditions
The trunk access code should be produced.

The trunk dialing should be available by the trunk access code.

Interactions
The digit can be entered up to 24 digits. If 20 or more digits are entered, the digits more than 20 are scrolled to the left for display.

After receiving the answer from the trunk, only the first 10 digits are displayed.

If pressing the (R) button shortly once during dialing by the PRE DIAL mode, one digit dialed is deleted. If pressing the (R) button for two or more seconds, all digits dialed are deleted.

After dialing the external subscriber’s number, pressing the INTERCOM() button instead of TALK() button is processed as same with pressing the TALK() button.

If pressing the INTERCOM() button during calling the called subscriber (status that the DECT subscriber hears the calling tone and the called subscriber rings), the DECT subscriber hears the dial tone and the called subscriber is released. At this time, the DECT subscriber can dial other station or trunk subscriber for calling.
