Consultation Transfer
Functional description
This function allows extension subscribers or attendant subscribers to hold a subscriber on line, call other subscriber and perform consultation call and determine whether to transfer call, and perform call transfer.
Operating procedure
Consultation transfer from general telephone / D-Tel telephone

Extension subscriber (A) is on line with other extension or trunk subscriber (B).
Subscriber (A) press “Hook Flash” or “TRANS”(Transfer) button.
Subscriber (B) becomes held and hears holding tone, and subscriber (A) hears 2^nddial tone.
Subscriber (A) dials the number of subscriber (C).

5 Subscriber (A) receives ringing tone, and subscriber (C) receives ring current.

6 Subscriber (C) picks up the handset.

7 Consultation call is made between subscriber (A) and subscriber (C), and decide whether to perform transfer.

8 Subscriber (A) hangs up the handset.

9 Call is made between subscriber (B) and subscriber (C).

Consultation transfer from attendant

An attendant subscriber is on line with an extension subscriber (A).
The attendant subscriber dials the number of subscriber (B).
The attendant subscriber dials “*”.
Extension subscriber (A) hears holding tone, and subscriber (B) hears ringing tone.

5 If extension subscriber (B) replies, consultation call with attendant is performed.

6 Attendant subscriber dials “*”.

7 Call is made between attendant subscriber and the subscriber on hold, and the subscriber on line hears holding tone.

8 Attendant subscriber presses “CONNECT”(Connection) key.

9 Call is made between subscriber (A) and subscriber (B).

Service conditions
If the subscriber (A) who tried consultation call hangs up the handset, general call transfer service is performed.

If the subscriber on consultation call presses “Hook Flash” and “TRANS”(Transfer) button once, Broker Call is performed in which the call is made with the subscriber on hold and the subscriber on line becomes held. Conference call is performed with two pressings on “Hook Flash” or “TRANS”(Transfer) button.

If attendant subscriber presses “RLS”(Release) key while on consultation call, all calls are released.
