ConferenceFunctional description
This function allows an extension subscriber or a trunk subscriber on line to call other extension subscriber to have conference call.
Operating procedure
Conference from general telephone 1 Extension subscriber (A) presses Hook Flash while on line.
2 The opposite subscriber (B) becomes hold state and hears holding tone, and extension subscriber (A) hears ringing tone.
3 Dial the code for Conference (Default:#5) and the telephone number of the other extension subscriber (C).
4 Extension subscriber (A) hears ringing tone, and extension subscriber (C) hears ring current.
5 Extension subscriber (C) answers.
6 Conference call is performed between extension subscriber (A), (B), and (C).
- Conference from D-Tel telephone.
1 D-Tel subscriber (A) presses “CONF”(Conference) button while on the line.
2 The opposite subscriber (B) becomes hold state and hears holding tone, and D-Tel subscriber (A) hears ring current.
3 Dial the telephone number of subscriber (C) to have conference with.
4 D-Tel subscriber (A) hears ringing tone, and extension subscriber (C) hears ring current.
5 Extension subscriber (C) answers.
6 Conference call is performed between D-Tel subscribers (A), (B), and (C).
- Conference from attendant
1 Attendant dials the telephone number of extension subscriber who is willing to perform conference call while on call with extension subscriber or trunk subscriber.
2 Status of dialed extension subscriber is displayed on attendant LCD.
3 Press “CONF”(Conference) key if extension subscriber is not in the service.
4 Station/trunk subscriber on line becomes hold status and hears holding tone, and ring tone is transmitted to attendant subscriber, and ring current is transmitted to other extension subscriber.
5 Extension subscriber answers.
6 Three way conference call is performed between station/trunk subscriber, attendant, and the other extension subscriber.

Interactions
When require conference call, if extension subscriber (C) is in service, extension subscriber (A) hears blocking tone, and the call with opposite subscriber (B) is recovered by “Hook Flash” or “TRANS”(Transfer button). If conference call circuits are all engaged, extension subscriber (A) hears blocking tone, and the call with (B) is recovered by “Hook Flash” or “TRANS”(Transfer) button. Calls between other subscribers are maintained even when any one subscriber is released during the conference call. Conference call is performed with “Hook Flash”, “TRANS”(Transfer) button, or by dialing subscriber telephone number. Conference call status is maintained for other subscribers. 3 If extension subscriber presses “Hook Flash” or “TRANS”(Transfer) button once during the conference call, Brokers Call is performed. If “Hook Flash” or “TRANS”(Transfer) button is pressed twice, conference call is performed. If operator presses “CLR”(Clear) key while hearing called ring tone, conference call is cancelled and previous call status is recovered. If a subscriber hangs up the handset while on conference call with operator, call is performed between the operator and the other subscriber. If the subscriber hearing holding tone is released, conference call request is cancelled, and the operator switches to a type of normal extension subscriber call. If the operator presses “CONF”(Conference) key while the called extension subscriber is in the service, the call is maintained and Error is displayed on attendant LCD. If the operator presses “RLS”(Release) key while ringing tone is being transmitted to extension subscriber, ring signal of extension subscriber finishes and conference call is cancelled. At this stage, calls of other subscribers who have heard the holding tone are released and congestion tone is transmitted. If the operator presses “RLS”(Release) key during the conference call, or if any one of the two subscribers hangs up the handset, it is transferred to the call status between the subscribers or between the operator and the subscriber. If the operator presses “CONF”(Conference) button while call with trunk by Through Dialing (by dialing trunk number), three way conference call is performed between the operator, trunk subscriber, and extension subscriber. If the operator presses “CONF”(Conference) button while on Attendant Consultation Transfer, three way conference call is performed between the operator and the two subscribers.
