Camp OnFunctional description
The function allows a subscriber to inform a waiting call to a extension subscriber on line with other extension subscriber, and to wait for the answer from the called subscriber.
Operating procedure
- Camp On from general telephone
Extension subscriber (A) calls a extension subscriber (B) in busy. Busy tone is heard. Press Camp On Registration Feature Code (Default:6). Extension subscriber (A) transmits holding tone to extension subscriber (A), and alarm tone to extension subscriber (B). 5 Extension subscriber hangs up the handset.
6 Ring back tone is transmitted to extension subscriber (A), and ring current is transmitted to extension subscriber (B).
7 Extension subscriber (B) picks up the handset.
8 Call is performed between extension subscribers (A) and (B).
- Camp On form D-Tel telephone
D-Tel subscriber (A) calls a extension subscriber (B) in busy. Busy tone is heard as (B) subscriber is on line. Press Camp On Registration Feature Code (Default:6). D-Tel subscriber (A) transmits holding tone to extension subscriber (A), and alarm tone to extension subscriber (B). 5 D-Tel subscriber hangs up the handset.
6 Ring back tone is transmitted to D-Tel subscriber (A), and ring current is transmitted to extension subscriber (B).
7 (B) picks up the handset.
8 Call is performed between D-Tel subscriber (A) and (B).
- Camp On from attendant
Extension subscriber (A) is on line with subscriber (B). Attendant is on line with extension subscriber (C) or trunk subscriber (C). Attendant calls extension subscriber (A). Busy tone is heard as subscriber (A) is on line. 5 Press “CAMP ON” Key.
6 Attendant is released. Holding tone is transmitted to subscriber (C) and alarm tone is transmitted to subscriber (A).
7 Subscriber (B) hangs up the handset.
8 Ring back tone is transmitted extension subscriber (A), and ring current is transmitted to extension subscriber (C).
9 If subscriber (A) picks up the handset, call is made between subscriber (A) and (B).
Service conditions
- This function is not performed when Step Call is used in the system.
- This function is not provided if Camp On function is not used by the connecting subscriber, although Camp On is available in the system.
- Camp On cannot be registered to the subscriber designated as Hot Line.
- Camp On cannot be registered to the call group.
- 20 Camp On registrations are available for a subscriber.
- If the subscriber who requested Camp On does on hook, Camp On function is cancelled.
- It is possible to designate whether to transmit alarm tone to the subscriber the Camp On is requested to.
- Alarm tone is transmitted at regular intervals to the subscriber the Camp On is requested to. This time interval is adjustable by operation work.
- In case the country code is Italy, Camp On service is not automatically performed when the opposite side is busy, but is performed only by pressing Camp On request code (Default:6).

Interactions
- In case the subscriber who is requested of Camp On presses Hook Flash, Off-Hook or On-Hook process is performed according to [2.6 System Feature Option-Hook Flash].
- If the called subscriber is in service, the function is performed in the order of Auto GroupHunting/ AutoHold/ AutoCall Waiting/ Auto Camp On.
