Calling/Connected Line Identification (CLIP, COLP)Functional description
This function displays calling party number and called party number on the LCD of D-Tel, ATD, DECT subscribers.
Operating procedure
- Extension call calling party/called party number display
Extension subscriber 2000 calls extension number 3000. “CALL TO 3000” is displayed on the LCD of 2000.
“CALL FROM 2000” is displayed on the LCD of 3000.
2 Extension subscriber 3000 answers.
“CONNECT TO 2001” is displayed on both LCDs of 2000 and 3000.
- Trunk calling party/called party number display
In case of termination When calling party number is received, calling party number and the trunk line number are displayed on called party LCD. But in case of ISDN and QSIG trunks, if Calling Line identification Restriction (CLIR) is requested, “CLIR” is displayed on LCD.
If calling party number is not received, “LINE RINGING” and the trunk line number are displayed on called party LCD.
2 In case of origination
In case called party number is received, called party number and the trunk line number are displayed on calling party LCD. But in case of ISDN and QSIG trunks, if Connected Line Identification Restriction (COLR) is requested, “COLR” is displayed on LCD.
If called party number is not received, calling party subscriber dialed number and the trunk line number are displayed on the calling party LCD.
- Restriction and allowance of calling/called party number by extension subscribers.
Off Hook. Press the function code. Enter option. (0 : Restrict transmission, 1: Allow transmission) Function registration completion tone is heard. 5 On Hook.
Service conditions
- Types of trunk should be as below to display calling party and called party numbers of trunk.
ISDN and QSIG trunk call that includes calling party/called party number. R2 trunk including calling party number. VOIP trunk including calling party number.
- To display calling party number and called party number received from trunk call, whether to use the function should be designated in each D-Tel. Attendant shall be displayed in any case.
- In case of R2 trunk call, it is possible to designate whether to request calling party number to the opposite station by subscribers and by calls.
- In case of ISDN, QSIG trunk, it is possible to restrict or allow calling party number or called party number transmission in the whole system or by extension subscribers.
- In case of VOIP trunk call, it is not possible to restrict calling party number and called party number transmission.

In case of dedicated line, the number is transmitted in unknown type irrespective of option. And in case Own PBX code is generated in the system, numbers are transmitted in Own PBX Code + Ext. No type.
