Busy OverrideFunctional description
The function allows an extension subscriber or operator to override another subscriber call. First, the system sends the break-in tone to the subscriber whose line is busy to inform the subscriber of the override. And then, it is forwarded to 3-PTY conference call with the subscribers of one-to-one call as soon as the break-in tone ends. Operating procedure
1 An extension subscriber hooks off the handset.
- Override on general telephone/D-Tel.
2 The subscriber dials another extension subscriber’s number.
3 The extension subscriber hears the busy tone if the subscriber’s line is busy.
4 The calling extension subscriber enters the override code (Default:3).
5 The break-in tone is sent to inform the called subscriber of the override.
6 The called extension subscriber hears the break-in tone and a 3-PTY conference call is set up.
1 An operator dials an extension subscriber’s number.
- Override in attendant
2 The extension subscriber’s status is displayed on the LCD of the attendant. If the subscriber’s line is busy, the operator hears the busy tone.
3 The operator presses the “BRK IN”(Break-In or Override) Key while hearing the busy tone.
4 A 3-PTY conference call among two subscribers and one operator is set up as soon as the operator hears the override warning tone for a second.
5 The operator presses the “RLS”(Release) key.
6 Then, only the operator is released from the conference call and the call between the two subscribers is maintained.
