Busy Lamp FieldFunctional description
The function designates the trunk or extension group as busy group to verify the status of the subscriber in the group.
Operating procedure
- Busy lamp field of attendant
- The operator presses the “BUSY GRP”(Busy Group) key.
- The “BUSY GRP”(Busy Group) LED turns on.
- The operator dials the number of trunk or extension group to be verified.
- The dialing group number is displayed on “BUSY:” of the LCD of the attendant.
- The operator enters the “ENT”(Register) key.
- The availability of the registered trunk or subscribers of the extension group is successively displayed on the LEDs.
- The operator presses the “BUSY GRP”(Busy Group) key while the “BUSY GRP”(Busy Group) LED is on.
- Then, the registered availability status is canceled as the number of the group displayed on the attendant LCD is cleared off.
Service conditions
If the group number for trunk subscriber is designated: The remaining figures excepting the last double digits of each trunk serial number are designated as the group number of the concerned number.
- If an operator presses the “CLR”(Clear), “RLS”(Release) or another key after dialing the numbers of the trunk or extension group to be verified, the dialing of the group is canceled.
- If the group number for extension subscriber is designated: The remaining figures excepting the last double digits of each number are designated as the group number of the concerned number. For instance, the group number of the number 200 to 299 is 2 and the group number of the number 2000 to 2099 is 20. The group number is used for the availability status registration.
