Automatic Network Dialing (AND)Functional description
AND allows a subscriber to designate preferred digits in trunk access code and automatically prefixes the designated digits to the external number that the subscriber dialed first. If a number of connected switches are operated on a network and a specific switch subscriber tries to call extension subscriber of the called switch through a couple of transit switches, the function makes it possible for the call to be automatically transmitted through the transit switch only by dialing the prefix of the called switch (trunk access code designated by the calling switch office to call the switch) or its extension number.

Data generation
- A trunk access code can produce a set of AND digits.
[4.2 Trunk Access Code]
- Assign of trunk access code
[4.2 Trunk access code – Trunk OG Group View menu at each Code]
- Assign Trunk Outgoing Line for each Trunk Access Code
[ 4.2 Trunk Access Code ? AND Digit]
- Assign of AND digit
InteractionsIf ARS selects a trunk of an alternative route, AND digits designated by the trunk calling group connected to the original trunk access code remain unused and the designated repeat digits of the selected route are sent out.
- Alternative Route Selection (ARS)
The function, a sort of combination of ARS and AND, not just only simply provides digit addition through selection of a specific trunk but also changes and send out digits dialed through digit addition/deletion/replacement. In general, the function is used if there are a number of communication service providers that apply different charge rates according to days, periods of time and call termination zones.
- Least Cost Routing (LCR)
