Attendant HoldFunctional description
The function allows operators to hold a subscriber who is talking with the attendant itself or who is ringing to the attendant, answer a held subscriber or connect the current subscriber to a held subscriber retrieving held subscribers during a call.
Operating procedure
1 An operator presses the “HOLD” key while talking to the subscriber on the other end.
- Hold by attendant in state of Conversation.
2 The LCD of the attendant is cleared off, one of the “Hold Indicator” LEDs turns on and the subscriber hears MOH. In this case, the attendant enters into the idle status.

2 An operator presses the “CALL HOLD” key.
3 The LCD of the attendant is cleared off, one of the “Hold Indicator” LEDs turns on and the subscriber hears MOH. In this case, the attendant enters into the idle status.

2 The subscriber’s hold status is released as the LED turns off and displayed on the LCD of the attendant, and a call to the held subscriber is set up.

2 A held subscriber’s status is indicated by the “Hold Indicator” LED and the other “Hold Indicator” LEDs hold their status.
3 The operator presses the “CLR” (Clear) key.
4 The held subscriber remains held and the held subscriber verification terminates as the LCD of the attendant is cleared off.
5 The operator keeps pressing the “HOLD VERIFY”(Hold Verification) key while a held subscriber’s status is displayed on the LCD of the attendant.
6 The currently held subscribers are displayed on the LCD of the attendant one after another and they remain held.
7 The operator presses the “Connect”(Connection) key while a held subscriber’s status is displayed on the LCD of the attendant.
8 The currently displayed subscriber’s hold status is released and the call between the subscriber and the operator is resumed as the “Hold Verification” LED turns off.

2 The held subscriber’s status is indicated by the “Hold Indicator” LED and the other “Hold Indicator” LEDs hold their status.
3 The operator presses the “CONNECT”(Connection) key.
4 The currently displayed subscriber’ hold status is released and a call between the subscriber and the current subscriber talking to the operator over the phone is established as the “Hold Verification” LED turns off. In this case, the LCD of the attendant is cleared off and connection to held subscriber terminates.
Service conditionsData generation
- The maximum number of subscribers to be held by a attendant is 5.
- If an operator presses the “HOLD” key to hold another subscriber in addition to the 5th held subscriber, the additional subscriber is no longer held and the call between the subscriber and the attendant continues. Also, there is the “Error” message displayed on the LCD of the attendant.
- If an operator presses the “HOLD VERIFY”(Hold Verification) key followed by the number corresponding to one of the LEDs off, the “Error” message is displayed on the LCD of the attendant.
- If both the subscriber talking to the operator and the held subscriber to be connected are trunk subscribers, there shall be relevant data produced so that it is possible to connect calls by routers.
