Attendant Call Pick Up

Functional description

If an operator connects the subscriber on the other end with the wrong subscriber, the function allows the operator to cancel the call transfer and reestablish a conversation with the transferred subscriber.

Operating procedure

  • Attendant call pick up
    1. An operator dials the number of the subscriber whom the operator connected to the wrong subscriber or the number of the subscriber whose phone is ringing.
    2. Then, the internal subscriber’s status is displayed on the LCD of the attendant.
    3. The operator presses the “ATD PICK-UP”(Attendant Pick-up) key while the internal subscriber is receiving the ring.
    4. Then, the ring of the internal subscriber who tries to pick up the handset is canceled the status of the subscriber who requested the call transfer is displayed on the LCD of the attendant and the conversation between the subscriber and the operator is resumed.

    Service conditions

  • If “ATD Pick Up” key is pressed when the subscriber to whom the operator transferred the call does not exist or is answering a previously received call, the function is not performed and the “Error” message is displayed on the LCD of the attendant.
  • Interactions Operators can transfer a call by dialing a subscriber’s number and pressing the “CONNECT”(Connection) key and cancel the call transfer by pressing the “ATD PICK-UP”(Attendant Pick-up) key.
